Aysel (Asya) Daliart on Incubus I think it sounds typical if I tell that Incubus have changed my life ... but they really have done that. You know, film students learn that a background sound is the most important thing in a movie; that is what changes all sensation of what you see in a movie, everything depends on the music in the background... My life was like a sort of too heavy art-house movie. It's too difficult to explain how it really was. But once in a mysterious way the song Drive started to chase me everywhere all the time (it was 2005 and at that time, I didn't know who Incubus were): radio, in buses , in the underground , at the hospital , at my job ..."It was like - Oh my God!! Again???Am I going crazy?? " Those were really the hardest times for me of my life. It was like life was falling apart and I remember how the words "Whatever tomorrow brings..." had wrapped me round with a deep feeling of spirit power, and then I decided to get to know who they were. I'm a person for whom it is really important to know a deep and clear sense of what I like. When I heard Brandon's voice in other songs, I was shocked. That voice pierced through me because of its amazing cleanness and strength. What about his infinite energy and his rare individuality? I am speechless. I was astonished by the guy's talents.

So Incubus became the background music of my life (my soundtrack) and I've looked at the life through other eyes ... they saved me and everything around me from that terrible destruction, they gave me answers that I had been searching for for a long time, they showed what to love the life is and to appreciate one's own talents, they showed what it means to have a dream and try to achieve it and how it looks to bring happiness to people. They brought a light to my world inside. Sure, I don't even know them personally but I really want to wish them a real, true happiness that everyone wishes a lot somewhere deep inside for oneself! Thanks guys.
And I've never met fans like incubus fans ( I work in the music industry in Russia) who combine together and help each other, they are sooo kind and friendly ...that's wonderful! Of course THANKS A LOT to Incubus for all that they do!
