HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY FOR THE CONTEST - PLEASE READ
There are two ways to submit your entry.
Method 1:
  • Click the Submit your photo button above to upload your photo ( no less than 1024x768 ).
  • Don't forget to add tags and a caption to describe your photos. This could make a difference to the votes you receive.


      • Method 2:
      • Follow this method if you have photos on flickr/ picasa/ facebook/ photobucket that you would like to submit.
      • Login to your lifeblob account and click the Import photos & videos link on the right to import your photos.
      • Choose the post that contains the photo you wish to upload and click to open it.
      • Choose the Submit to contest option above the photo, and click on the contest name in the dropdown to submit it.
      • Don't forget to add tags and a caption to describe your photos. This could make a difference to the votes you receive.
      The prizes will be awarded based on the number of votes on your photo. You are allowed to promote your submission to get more votes.

      You can use the share options in the full screen view to email, tweet or share on facebook or copy the URL from the browser.
LIFEBLOB PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST - RULES
1. General
Lifeblob.com invites budding and professional photographers to showcase their best collections and get acknowledgement from your peers and friends.
2. Who is eligible to enter?
Anyone over 13 years of age and with a lifeblob account can enter this competition. If you don’t have an account already, create one by signing up above and get started.

Members and affiliates of lifeblob are eligible to make submissions and compete for the top spot but will not be entitled to a prize.
3. What photographs are eligible to be entered?
To be eligible for entry, a photograph must:
  • Be related to "Rain Rain Rain" theme.
  • May be either colour or black & white.
  • Multiple submissions per lifeblob account are allowed - your most popular photo will be considered for the final result.
  • You can add multiple photos to a single post - your most popular photo in a post will be considered for the prize.
  • There should not be any content which is socially objectionable.
  • Photographs must not be greatly manipulated (read photoshopped) apart from cropping, sharpening or adjusting contrast and levels.
4. What is the deadline for entering the contest?
Your entries should be submitted no later than Jul 31, 2010, 1200 hrs PST. The prizes will be announced on Aug 01, 2010.
5. And finally, the prizes?
The awards are based on the popularity of your photo. We are giving out a total of 16 awards in 3 slabs:

1 Gold Prize - A cool Rs 1000/- gift voucher that can be redeemed for purchases on the lifeblob store
5 Silver Prizes - A 10% discount voucher for the lifeblob store

10 Bronze Prizes - A 5% discount voucher for the lifeblob store

Photos will be chosen based on number of votes and awarded the prizes.
